Gone fishing

 

This Shag was fishing close inshore off Studland Beach today. There has been a Red-necked Grebe around recently but I was unable to find it in very windy and choppy conditions. Later in the calmer waters off Middle Beach a Sandwich Tern was also fishing while at least 19 Med Gulls were present with small numbers of Common Scoter, Brent Goose, Black-necked Grebe and Red-breasted Merganser.
