Spoons at Cley

There were 21 Spoonbills at Titchwell on Tuesday, including some very young birds begging for adults to regurgitate food by clattering their spoons together. Not quite as many at Cley today - five in fact - but two of those present flew right in front of one of the hides. One was obviously a very young bird and close enough that I could hear its trilling begging calls. The adult bird seemed unmoved though and eventually flew off without regurgitating anything.
