Studying Northern Wheatear up close at Stanpit proved helpful in getting my eye in for the Isabelline Wheatear twitch later in the day. Crouch Hill is a great spot for Wheatear, and there were at least 6 birds in a relatively small area there. Meadow Pipit and Little Egret were also very approachable today.
