Deja vu at Stanpit Marsh

When and approachable Glossy Ibis spent a few weeks at Stanpit Marsh last year (see post of 2nd October 2010), I didn't think I would see one that well again, but today there were two in exactly the same location. Although not quite as tame as last year's bird, they were still pretty tolerant, and even when flushed by passers-by would generally only fly a short distance away. These pictures were taken in very poor light, and I was fortunate to get the lower image of the bird in flight with a shutter speed of just 1/250th of a second at ISO800.
