Last night's flock of 27 Spoonbills had reduced to 16 tonight at Middlebere - still an impressive sight though. One more flew in just before 1800 and three left at regular intervals before the whole flock got up, did a few circuits and landed in the creek. A Mute Swan and a Marsh Harrier also sailed past, and apart from 100 Blackwits, a few Redshank and a Greenshank, waders were thin on the ground.
